Rachel takes over the camera...

Rachel thought that there were not enough pics of me. So she took some time behind the lens tonight.  It's not hard to get great pics of little M.

Some swing time for Mallory.  The swing comes highly recommended by her friend Zoe Davis
Finally some more Steve and Mallory pics... (she's so stickin' cute!)

Mallory Madness!

So, she's doing great! We are having so much fun with her.
Rachel has been feeling better and better.  Mallory's letting us get some rest but not as much for mama since she's quiet hungry.

On to the pics of this cute little girl!

All three generations...
Mallory had a little elevated Bili level, so she had to spend Sunday on a light paddle.  She's doing great now and back to normal levels.

Seeping is her main hobby so far... And eating... And, well you know...
Here's Rachel and Mallory with Marli in her spot where she tucked into the whole time Rachel was pregnant.

Another Day... Another Grandparent...

That title pretty much summarizes day 3 for miss Mallory...
We had great visits from Skip on Friday and Saturday morning.  Then Grandma Karen and Grandpa Jim came to see Mallory Saturday afternoon!  She was a champ, showing off for grandparents; she was slightly awake or enjoying nap time on her full compliment of grand folks all day long.

Saturday also had a quick trip back to the hospital for a quick check-in since we were allowed to leave a day early with her.  Today was great and I know a bunch of you that can't make it out to Corvallis quite yet are happy to see pictures, but don't expect daily updates for too long!

On to the pics....
Grandpa and Mallory spent some quality time this morning

Back to Grandpa. She's taller than Skips hands! And that's saying something...
On to the afternoon and Grandma Karen!
 Then back to Grandma Jolley...

Welcome to the World!

Today Rachel and I are over the top excited to welcome Mallory to the world! It's been a long journey but so worth it. We are very lucky.

We had very good care at Good Samaritan in Corvallis. Rachel's good friend Dr AJ McCann was our doctor, it was special and unique to have a good friend to be the delivering physician. She took great care of Rachel and Mallory. The nurse staff was also great and Rachel's friend Kelly stayed on after a full night shift to help keep mom strong through delivery. Thank you to everyone that helped bring her into the world!

Mallory was born at 9:37am Thursday August 22, 2013. She weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. She has a lot of hair as you can see! Sandy has been down here to help out this week as well, she really helped Mallory and Rachel get established feeding She's been a super baby so far!

We stayed one night at Good Sam and on Friday Mallory went through some test and saw the pediatrician.  She did a great job with docs and nurses. They released Mallory on Thursday afternoon and we headed home.

Home been very nice, quiet and calm.  She has slept a ton. On Friday Skip came down to meet Mallory as well.  She took excellent naps on her grandparents today!

Rachel and I are so happy to have her home.  It's been a journey to get here and so worth it!
